[Peru] Riots: Mob violence

Around 28 March 2025 (as reported), in Bajo Pichanaqui (Junin), a group of residents held, severely beat and stripped two men off their clothes, accusing them of theft in the locality. The mob hung a message around the suspects necks calling them thieves and forced them walk around the municipality. Police and Local Police forces (Serenos) intervened arresting the suspects. There were no fatalities.
