[Peru] Riots: Mob violence

Around 10 April 2025 (as reported), in Huancayo (Junin), a group of residents from 9 de Octubre and Jr. Nemesio Raez Avenues, held, beat, and tied a man to a light pole, accusing the individual of theft attempt in the area. Local Police officers (Serenos) intervened rescuing the suspect from the mob and arrested him. There were no fatalities.
