On 10 April 2025, in Huancayo (Junin), a group of workers at the national school food program gathered outside the premises of the institution to demonstrate, demanding their right to work after the announcement of the program's closure due to widespread poising of students. Demonstrators denounced poor management at the regional headquarters and demanded the resignation of the minister of development and social inclusion.
