On 10 April 2025, in Cusco (Cusco), a group of residents and workers at different sectors carried out a demonstration by marching through the main streets of the city, protesting against the Sur Andino pipelines in the region, demanding its termination and calling for the administration to be by the public sector. They also denounced discrimination in the supply of gas in the region and voiced their discontent with the national government.
