[Kenya] Riots: Mob violence

On 9 April 2025, supporters of Mathira Member of Parliament (MP) and those of the former deputy president (both ODM-Kenya Kwanza) clashed with each other, with some engaging in a fistfight, during a funeral service at Muragara primary school (Kirinyaga West, Kirinyaga), following political rivalry. The MP was whisked to safety by his security detail. Extent of injuries is unknown/not reported.
