Around 10 April 2025 (as reported), in Copiapo (Atacama), members of neighborhood organizations in the El Palomar area, alongside a municipal councilmember (PS), protested with a sign to demand increased security, more firefighters, as well as better health services and public transport options. Protesters argued that their neighborhood had grown in recent years and required better services.
