[Trinidad and Tobago] Violence against civilians: Attack

On 21 March 2025, in San Juan, San Juan-Laventille, two armed men got out of a car and opened fire on a mason while he was working with seven other men. As they ran into the bushes to escape, the targeted man fell to the ground where one of the shooters followed him and shot him again, killing him. The shooters then fled the scene in the vehicle. The victim had had previous encounters with the police. The motivation for the attack is unknown. 1 fatality.
