[Trinidad and Tobago] Violence against civilians: Abduction/forced disappearance

On 4 April 2025, in Cunupia, Chaguanas, overnight, according to witnesses, armed individuals in a vehicle blocked the path to a three-occupants car and kidnapped a British man (born in Trinidad) who travelled with his father and brother-in-law, along Warren Road. One of the armed men exited the vehicle, forced the car's occupants to keep their heads down, and forcibly removed the victim from the back seat. He was taken to an unknown location. His whereabouts are unknown.
