[Iraq] Strategic developments: Disrupted weapons use

Weapons seizure: On 3 April 2025, joint security forces (coded as the army and the police) supported by EOD units carried out a security operation from several axes in the western part of Makhol Mountains in the vicinity of Qaryat Hulaywat al Kabirah (coded as Qaryat Hulaywat al Kabirah, Salah Al Din), combing hills and agricultural areas, and seizing an unknown number of explosive devices (at least four of them), mines and rockets which had belonged to ISIL militants. EOD units removed the weapons and dismantled the explosive devices.
