[Ethiopia] Violence against civilians: Attack

On 7 April 2025, local police (likely South Ethiopia Police, based on the location of the event) executed 2 people in Haybena Kebele (Derashe, Derashe Special, South Ethiopia), after arresting them and tying their hands and legs together. Motivation unknown. The police also opened fire, targeting other youths who were doing farming activities in a group in the same kebele and forced them to flee the woreda. The killing happened after ENDF was deployed to the woreda on 4 April 2025 (coded separately).
