[Ethiopia] Violence against civilians: Attack

On 8 April 2025, OLF-OLA fighters shot and killed 8 civilians in Surge Kebele, Haro Limu (East Wollega, Oromia). The attack targeted the family members of a suspected OLF-OLA defector accused of having involvement (aiding government forces) in the killing of the OLA commander. All of the victims were believed to be family members and relatives of a defector from Sugee Kebele.
