[Cyprus] Protests: Peaceful protest

On 9 April 2025, around 300 demonstrators participated in a counter-protest in Northern Nicosia organized by the Northern Cyprus transport minister and leader of the Turkish settlers' party YDP, Erhan Arikli, to show 'respect to the motherland', following a mass Turkish Cypriot protest the previous day in the midst of the 'headscarf crisis'.
