[Cyprus] Protests: Peaceful protest

On 29 March 2025, hundreds of protesters, organized by AKEL, marched to the Finance Ministry in Nicosia, carrying banners, to protest against the rising cost of living and green taxes. They accused both the Anastasiades and the incumbent Christodoulides governments of failing to tackle energy poverty. The general secretary of AKEL made a speech.
