Around 17 April 2025 (as reported), near Entrerrios village (Antioquia), suspected members of the Gulf Clan hurled an IED at a police unit that was patrolling the area. The explosion caused no injuries but resulted in material damage to the police vehicle. Authorities suspect the attack is part of the 'pistol plan' carried out by the Gulf Clan in retaliation for the killing of one of its high-ranking members by security forces on 5 April (coded separately). There were no casualties.
