On 16 April 2025, near El Concilio (Antioquia), Gulf Clan members detonated an IED as a police motorcycle was passing through, on an unspecified road. The explosion killed a police officer, injured another one and left a crater on the road. Authorities suspect the attack may have been in retaliation for the killing of a high-ranking Gulf Clan member and faction leader by security forces a week earlier (coded separately). Four suspects were arrested shortly after the attack. 1 fatality.
