[Colombia] Battles: Armed clash

Around 2 April 2025 (as reported), in Tibu municipality (Norte de Santander), military forces clashed with two members of the Luis Leon Guerra Front of the ELN after intercepting them at a road checkpoint. They were travelling in a stolen vehicle. The suspects were injured but managed to escape through a forested area. After the clash, the security forces collected seven landmines, three gas canisters, two assault rifles and two containers with explosives. There were no fatalities.
