[Russia] Violence against civilians: Abduction/forced disappearance

On 7 April 2025, Chechen police abducted 'all known' relatives of a teenager responsible for the 7th April's attack on the police post (coded separately) from their homes in Achkhoy-Martan, Republic of Chechnya. Shortly after their disappearance was uncovered, the head of the Republic put out a statement ordering the police to 'deport' them (coded separately). In the same statement Kadyrov put the partial blame for the attack on the man's relatives. Their whereabouts are unknown.
