On 30 March 2025, more than 200 people gathered for a 'car meetup' and clashed with police when they came to break up the gathering in the neighborhood of Ozone Park in New York - Queens (New York). When the police arrived to break up the meetup, the rioters then encircled a group of NYPD vehicles, jumped on them, threw objects, dented several police cars, and broke the windows of the police cars. At least one individual also stole a bag of police paperwork from the police car after breaking the police car window. Police arrested three individuals for obstruction, mischief, and fleeing a police car, among other charges.
