[Trinidad and Tobago] Protests: Peaceful protest

On 9 April 2025, in Port or Spain, Port of Spain, residents led by leader of the New National Vision (NNV) party held a protest in front of the office of the area's congressman, on St Paul Street, to decry the lack of support from the government in dealing with various problems, such as crime, unemployment, and poor living conditions in housing buildings, among others, despite repeated attempts to make demands. The leader of the party claimed that the area's congressman was punishing the residents because they did not support him.
