[Peru] Riots: Mob violence

On 8 April 2025, in Secocha (Arequipa), a group of residents from Alto Mirador sector held and beat a man accused of theft attempt in the area. The individual was forced to apologize with the locality and was held until Local Police forces (Serenos) rescued and arrested him. Two other suspects managed to flee. There were no fatalities.
