[Panama] Riots: Violent demonstration

On 5 April 2025, in La Encantada, Colon, a group of demonstrators blocked a road and five of them threw stones at a vehicle transporting personnel working for the Panama Canal Authority (ACP), who were attempting to reach the Los Cedros community to attend a meeting with the locals, regarding the Rio Indio Reservoir project. The demonstrators opposed the construction project on the Indio River reservoir. There were no casualties.
