[Nepal] Riots: Violent demonstration

On 30 March 2025, locals demonstrated by pelting stones and clashing with the police in the Bindhi locality in Janakpur city (Dhanusha district), demanding the arrest of all culprits involved in the stabbing of a teenager, who was killed during a Holi-related (Hindu festival of colors) dispute. Police fired dozens of tear gas shells to take the situation under control. Several people, including police officers, sustained injuries during the incident.
