[Myanmar] Explosions/Remote violence: Remote explosive/landmine/IED

On 10 April 2025, in Toungup township (Thandwe district, Rakhine state), a landmine exploded and injured a 10-year-old girl from Wet Pyae village when she stepped on the landmine planted by an unknown armed group while searching for vegetables with her father near Pha Luu Gyi hill at around 7:00 am. She lost her leg. Separately, another landmine exploded and injured a 22-year-old man from Hpone Nyo Late village when he stepped on the landmine planted by an unknown armed group while he was looking for vegetables near the No.5 Military Operations Command (MOC-5). He lost his leg.
