[Iraq] Battles: Armed clash

On 8 April 2025, security forces including police forces (Anti-Narcotics Department) clashed with a drug dealer in Al Salihiyya neighborhood in the center of Nassriya city (Thi Qar) during an attempt to arrest him. The clash lasted for two hours and ended after the arrival of the security reinforcements. The dealer was shot in the head and the leg, and arrested. Additionally, four members of the police forces were injured. There were no fatalities.
