[India] Violence against civilians: Attack

On 7 April 2025, 4 unidentified assailants attacked the leader of Asom Goria Jatiya Parishad (organization for the Goria community) and looted his belongings including cash and gold at Panikhaiti village (Kamrup Metropolitan, Assam) suspectedly over his anti-drug initiatives. Police arrested 2 individuals.
