[India] Violence against civilians: Abduction/forced disappearance

Around 1 April 2025 (as reported), armed Naga assailants abducted 4 persons from Assam along the Assam-Nagaland border at Ranikham Rojabari 4 No. Line in the Chelenghat area (coded to Rajabari village, Jorhat, Assam) after they attempted to remove betel nut plantations from land they claimed was occupied by the Nagas, creating tensions in the border area. They were all released later.
