On 30 March 2025, the Indonesian military deployed ground forces and an aerial attack on Eknemba/Elenemba village, Sugapa district (Intan Jaya regency, Central Papua province), following an armed clash with the TPNPB in Janamba village (coded separately). There were no details regarding the destruction from the attack on this village. They used military aircraft, helicopters, and combat drones. The ground forces shot dead a Papuan civilian who was doing timber work near the village, claiming he was affiliated with the TPNPB. According to the local informants, the victim was a civilian. His body was found on 3 April 2025 and cremated at his home in Janamba/Sanaba village.
