[Haiti] Riots: Violent demonstration

On 3 April 2025, between Delmas - Delmas 40b and Delmas - Delmas 60, Ouest, thousands of militants and supporters of the Committed to Development Party (EDE) held a march from Delmas 40b to the Primature building (in Delmas 60) demanding the stepping down of the Presidential Transitional Council (CPT), among other claims. Barricades of burning tires were erected in Delmas 52 and Delmas 81 on the Delmas road. Demonstrators were also seen in Delmas 83. As the crowd arrived to the intersection of Musseau and Delmas 60, police forces fired tear gas and dispersed the mobilization. The demonstration was held on the occasion of the anniversary of the so-called 3rd of April Agreement (designed by the CPT for a political transition).
