[Honduras] Violence against civilians: Attack

On 1 April 2025, near La Entrada, Copan, two unidentified armed men on a motorcycle shot and killed a moto taxi driver while he was working. The attackers intercepted the victim on the road between the Amanecer neighborhood in La Entrada and the community of Santa Luz in the municipality of Nueva Arcadia. The victim attempted to flee on foot but was shot multiple times and died at the scene. Police arrived to secure the area and begin an investigation. The motive is unknown. 1 fatality.
