[Guatemala] Protests: Peaceful protest

On 7 April 2025, in San Antonio Seja, Izabal, residents of multiple communities, some of whom belonged to Q'eqchi communities (coded to Maya Indigenous Group, blocked the road CA-13 around km. 279, protesting against a mining project in the area and its environmental impacts. The blockade was lifted on 8 April, after a dialogue with the authorities.
