[Greece] Protests: Peaceful protest

On 9 April 2025, protesters rallied and marched peacefully in Veroia over the high cost of living at the call of labor federations GSEE and ADEDY during a 24-hour nationwide general strike. Unions called for sector-wide collective labor agreements, wage increases and policy measures to ease the housing crisis and inflation pressures, among other demands. Local members of ADEDY, teachers, health workers and other unionists rallied together, while PAME rallied separately.
