[Colombia] Violence against civilians: Attack

On 2 April 2025, in Puerto Wilches (Santander), two suspected FARC dissidents on a motorcycle shot and killed a social leader and former Puerto Wilches councilman (MAIS), in a drive-by shooting in the Colombia neighborhood. The mother of the targeted man was injured in the gunfire. The deceased had received threats from an unspecified FARC dissident group in March (unspecified). The attackers fled. 1 fatality.
