[Colombia] Riots: Violent demonstration

On 3 April 2025, in Bogota - Santa Fe (Bogota, D.C.), approximately 30 members of the Guardia Indigena of the Misak Indigenous group caused unrest, damaged public infrastructure, and clashed with UNDMO police during a demonstration aimed at drawing the government's attention to their demands, which had kept them camped at Bolivar Square since 31 March (coded separately). UNDMO police employed tear gas to disperse the small group of rioters. The government threatened to end negotiations with the Indigenous communities camped in the city if the violence continued. On April 4, an agreement was reached, and the hundreds of Indigenous people began returning to their homeplaces. There were no casualties.
