On 8 April 2025, in Bogota - Kennedy (Bogota, D.C.), a vigilante group of residents of the Kennedy Central neighborhood beat and immobilized a thief who moments earlier had attempted to steal a motorcycle with an accomplice. The man was struck several times and handed over to the police for custody. The other suspect managed to escape. There were no fatalities.
