[Colombia] Riots: Mob violence

On 29 March 2025, in Malambo (Atlantico), residents of the Ciudadela Real del Caribe neighborhood beat and attacked a Venezuelan man with machetes, accusing him of sexually abusing a young girl minutes earlier. Police intervened to protect him from the mob before arresting him and taking him to a hospital for treatment. There were no fatalities.
