[Central African Republic] Violence against civilians: Attack

On 2 April 2025, a FACA soldier attacked and shot a civilian in the thigh in Bamingui-Bangoran Prefecture, coded to the prefectural capital, Ndele (Ndele, Bamingui-Bangoran), after he refused to pay an extortion fee. The soldier was later arrested and detained by the gendarmerie forces. No further infomation about the victim.
