On 2 April 2025, Wagner group tied up and beat civilians in Bowaye (Nana-Bakassa, Nana-Bakassa, Ouham) while searching for CMSPR militia. The Wagner group looted civilian belongings, including livestock. Residents fled the area. There were no fatalities.
