On 16 April 2025, residents of Sofia's Lyulin neighborhood protested in the area of the Zapaden Park metro station, demanding that the residents of the destroyed buildings in the Zaharna Fabrika residential area in block 464 in the neighborhood not be accommodated. The municipality took down the buildings that housed, among others, Roma families living in the capital and protesters don't want them moved to their neighborhood.
