Other: On 6 April 2025, the Burkinabe government has decided to recall its ambassador from Algeria, accused of shooting down a Malian army drone. Event coded to the country's capital Ouagadougou (Ouagadougou, Kadiogo). Mali and Niger have also recalled their ambassadors from Algeria. The said decision was taken by the three countries in a statement issued by the Confederation of Sahel States. The three countries expressed their regret at the destruction of a FAMa drone by the Algerian army. They pointed out that the airspace of Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso represents a single theater of military operations, and therefore consider the destruction of the FAMa drone as an aggression against all members of the Confederation of Sahel States.
