On 10 April 2025, a government soldier armed with an AK-47 rifle shot and killed a civilian in the Tabeelaha Weydow neighborhood in Mogadishu - Garasbaaley (Banadir). The motive for the killing is an unknown dispute between the victim and the soldier prior to the shooting.
