Around 17 April 2025 (as reported), in Tacna (Tacna), a group of residents from La Natividad locality carried out a demonstration, protesting against a pit bull dog in the locality and denounced different assaults to animals and an elderly woman. The group denounced the owners of the animal have not assumed responsibility for the attacks and called for intervention of local authorities.
