On 16 April 2025, in Acapulco de Juarez, Guerrero, over 500 taxi and public transport drivers used their vehicles and three coffins, which they set on fire, to block Mexico-Acapulco federal road in Paso Limonero during over three hours to demand security measures and the dismissal of the state governor. One of the demonstrators was shot and killed later the same day (coded separately).
