On 15 April 2025, in Santa Maria Huiramangaro, Michoacan de Ocampo, indigenous normalista students, farmers and relatives of a student of Rural Vasco de Quiroga school who disappeared in Tiripetio on 13 April 2025 used burning tires to block Patzcuaro-Uruapan road and demand that he be located. Additional demonstrations took place in Zirahuen and Morelia (coded separately). The student's body was found in Lagunillas on 18 April 2025 (coded separately).
