[Myanmar] Explosions/Remote violence: Remote explosive/landmine/IED

On 10 April 2025, in Kamarmaung town (Hpapun township, Hpapun district, Kayin state), a landmine exploded in a playground when a child stepped on it. Two 12-year-old children and a 17-year-old girl were injured. The victims were taken to a hospital in Hpa-An town for medical treatment. No group claimed responsibility for the landmine explosion.
