On 16 April 2025, in Shwe Ge Nyo village (Bokpyin township, Kawthoung district, Tanintharyi region), the Myeik District People's Defense Force Collective Column 2 attacked an outpost of the Pyu Saw Htee at around 3:00 am. The Pyu Saw Htee members retreated from the outpost. The Myeik District PDF Collective Column 2 seized 11 guns, five 59mm grenades, 27 rounds of bullets, 16 magazines and a talkie walkie. A 50-year-old leader of the Pyu Saw Htee was killed during the attack.
