On 16 April 2025, in Kan Ma Laing village (Tanintharyi township, Myeik district, Tanintharyi region), the the People's Defense Force - Tanintharyi and allies attacked an outpost of the Myanmar military (LIB-558) at around 8:30 am. The fighting lasted about 20 minutes. A military troop was killed,and many others were injured.
