On 27 March 2025, members of IUSF and the IUSF convener participated in a protest organized by the Allied Health Sciences Students' Union and IUSF in front of the Ministry of Health building in Colombo city (Colombo, Western), demanding the government abolish the exam system for recruiting Allied Health Sciences graduates into the government health services.
