[Kenya] Battles: Armed clash

On 26 March 2025, rival factions (coded as unidentified armed groups), allied to the family of the late Kikenyi Ole Mpoe and the family of the late former cabinet minister Mbiyu Koinange, engaged in an armed clash at the Muthera farm in Mau Narok (Njoro, Nakuru) following a land dispute. 1 person was shot dead during the incident. Police later raided the home of the Mpoe family by lobbing teargas, arresting 3 suspects, including a 16-year-old form two student, in connection with the murder, as well as seizing documents.
