[India] Protests: Peaceful protest

On 10 April 2025, hundreds staged a sit-in protest at the police station in Naducauvery village (Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu) against the death by suicide in protest of a woman outside the police station. The protesters refused to accept the body and demanded action against the police officers that had verbally abused the woman and her sister who had then consumed poison in protest.
