On 10 April 2025, Left Front, CPI(M), INC, BJP, DYFI members and hundreds of teachers and non-teaching staff joined by those who protested over the sexual assault in RG Kar including professional actors, doctors and PDSF members held protests at Kolkata city (WB) against the TMC-led state government over claimed irregularities in the recruitment process and to demand reinstatement of teaching and non-teaching staff jobs invalidated by supreme court, publishing of their marksheets and against the earlier use of force by police against teachers during a protest in Kolkata (coded separately).
